I have the same sort of set up in my GranSport but I find that it works really well for maybe a week or two and then it doesn’t want to connect to my phone anymore, so I need to pull out the head unit, disconnect the dongle and plug it back in again and then it works again. A little frustrating…

Mine doesn’t auto connect either - I need to go into the Bluetooth section of my phone settings and select the device each time. My one was A$23 (not too dissimilar to what yours cost) so I really can’t complain. I just wish I didn’t have to pull it out so frequently. Hopefully you don’t encounter the same issue and I just got a dodgy one!
