Bonnet cable snapped

gransport handbrake cable snapped

Before I start labouring and performing all sorts of ingenious ideas and concoctions (perhaps training as a contortionist even), appears whilst fettling the car for the spring my bonnet cable has siezed anb snapped, rushing like one does to the manual and eurospares site to see whats what and where, noticed there are two cables, removed the carpet covering the the handle and low and behold there is another handle beside the existing, gave it a tug and only one side has released ...............any ideas or if anyone has come across the same problem before i start to put by back out or get myself enrolled for the next edition of the kamasutra

Cheers Frank , but i had already found the emergency pull lever (handy to know tho ) might try it with one person pushing down slightly on the bonnet tonite whilst the emergency handle is pulled

Kaz's fair hands spread eagled nicely over the bonnet seemed to have done the trick Frank , bonnet now up and access to replace the offending cable , that emergency cable is a godsend , hints for everyone keep them well greased at all times

i managed to snap the boot release handle on my motor pain in the *** to open up now
