Boot won't open & kill switch is on

After reading this Ive checked my boot and it opens just fine with the key. Something I'll check from time to time.

I have had the problem twice. Forget WD40......... Gun oil solves it almost immediately failing that being available olive oil into the lock and working it well in and then leaving it for a few hours will release it

I have some gun oil at home. I'll try that over the weekend, as I still haven't refitted the bootlid liner.
