Brake Calipers

Hi ALL,,my brake calipers are black and i really want them red. I have two questions. 1ST, can they be painted and what kind of paint. 2ND, if i powdercoat them, how hard is it to remove the pistons and seals. Just so you guys know i do alot of my own stuff,,,thanks Any ideas

Yes they can be painted Lorenz , and its also possible to get maserati logo's just search online (for brake calliper decals ) personally i used a proper company to spray a black set i had yellow , there now sat in my garage on the shelf , do a google search for brake calliper heat resistant paint and laquer if your doing it yourself , and yes its reasonably easy to remove pistons but i wouldn't re-use the seals , i would replace with new ones
