It's good, but, on balance, I would take the V10.


Not a chance ... I went out to get a V10 but then drove it against the E39 ... Faster ...yes ... more fun...no. To computer aided and did not excite like the E39...

Dem, I know you like the new 5 but I just can not get used to it. It just looks like a big 3 series. Where as E60/E39 had there own design and stood out a mile. New M5 will be great though there is no doubt about that.

That is a good point, my dad's Lexus IS, 56 reg, 100,000 miles, the mileage would put a lot of people off but i know the car has always been well cared for. I suppose mileage is not a huge problem on modern cars today.

I would buy a modern diesel with high miles but would be a lot more wary about buying a petrol with the same mileage.
