Burnt out Maseratis

around 1000 new cars in the port of Savona burnt out the other night in Italy. Including many new Maseratis! Hope no one is waiting for one of those!

On the bright side at least the factory will have some more orders to fill.

It strikes me as a trifle indiscriminate to be planned. Why would you burn a yard full of cars and trucks when there is more than likely a more direct route to a resolution.

Also there were 7 metre waves coming over the sea wall at the time!

Apparently, the high seas flooded the warehouse, which caused an electrical short which consequentially started the fire which soon spread through the closely parked cars.

Sad but it means they can start the factory up a tad earlier in the New Year.
