Chaps

Looking forward to the sun coming out this summer!
Paid our Dicky a visit today and will shortly be moving into the sparsely populated GS Spyder ownership section of the forum.

Picking up Friday - can't wait!!

If i ever was going for a spyder that could be the GS spyder...Congrats Dave!!

I am wondering, is there a spyder version of the MC victory, or there are all coupes?(I'm sure Miles knows the answer).

Mmmm how did you guess Miles? Not told a soul before tonight - have you got "The Shining" then?:)

Anyway, was looking at moving up to GT then after weeks of debate decided against for a variety of reasons. Physical size of car, performance, running costs etc
Thought I wanted something a bit unique that I could hold on to for the longer term.

Been pondering the GS Spyder since it went up for sale a few weeks ago. Had a chat with Dicky at the weekend and met up today.

Lovely car, fantastic condition, low miles and has wanted for nothing as it was previously Marios from Autoshield's car.
Well pleased.

Cheers

All coupes Nikos. There was the 90th Anniversary Spyder but that's a bit of a 4200 / GS mongrel. THe GS Spyder is the one to go for, and a rare beast for sure.

Haha, the only shining I have involves polishing me bald head when the sun comes out!! :D

No, you posted in the last couple of days, which made me wonder and prior to that we spoke about the GT at Shiltech which made me think you were feeling 'restless'.

For me you've made exactly the right decision. The GT is a different type of Maserati altogether and isn't a logical next step from either the 4200 or the GS. If I were to consider that move, it would be a DB9 rather than a GT.

I'll hope to see your GS Spyder in the not too distant. Mini meet over a cup of Sharon's coffee?

Sorry can't do. Away in Hamburg watching Mrs run the marathon there.
Away for the BH the week after.

Keep in touch and will get it sorted!

Congrats, for me that's the ultimate achievable Maserati (in other words the MC12 and 450S are not)!

Saw it on Dicky's site and then NEVER looked again as could do without the temptation!
