Hi
HR Owen kindly offered me new wipers for £185 for the QP V 2010

What should I buy? Do I go for just the new rubber or is there another alternative?

Nope they don’t have em - want to be clear I am looking for details of replacing the rubber blades only so I can keep the OEM structure etc....

They are different. That's the driver's side. They happen to fit but they are not the same as the OEM ones

Nothing wrong with them mind

£185? That's two tank fulls!
Measure the length of them, nip down to your local Halfords buy the equivalent length, if you're a complete mechanical nightmare pay the spotty yoof to fit them, job done.

Or buy them of eBay and fit them yourself. Or your husband... Lol

Use rest of money to buy beer or fuel but don't consume both at the same time.

We know which model number fits the passenger side as well then?

Screwed if I’m paying 200 notes for wiper blades !

I can find that out mate, the one I linked (Bosch) works for sure as I fitted it to mine.

Thanks Contigo

Sat at my desk researching over lunch I saw Denso ones mentioned somewhere.

Put reg in euro car parts and they actually come up, £37 for both but put MAY75 code in and got them both for under £20 so ordered them and going to give them a try.

Probably won't work. It's to do with the stupid design of the wiper arm which has an un-necessary wide piece, so unless the clip on the new blade works in the other orientation, it won't go over the arm :(

That's just rubbish! (Maserati design, not your answer!)
