Central lock unit needed left (driver) side Spyder 4200

Dear all, my central lock unit of my 4200 Spyder 2003 broke down unfortunately (driver side, so left door), so I can no longer lock the door with the remote key. Does anyone have ideas where to get a new one or a 2nd hand unit that works well? I am based in the Netherlands, so postal delivery would be ideal. Thanks!

I wouldn’t bother with second hand, they are all aged and will fail.

Are the door locks the same for alfa 166 and 4200 they look identical on the linked website.

They are but require internal modifications to work. Don’t ask me what as I do not know but Adnan does.

You need to email Christian at the site above and he will give you the price. Think they were £350 each. Long way from the £35 they used to be 10 years ago from the factory.
