If the clutch is slipping when the car is moving would it not slip even more if you were starting from still esp if on a incline.
It's an excellent question ...... but no because of the gearing of the transmission/gear box. If you think about it, it's like a 10 speed or bike with gearing, as you switch up through the gears it takes more force to rotate the rear wheel where you're literally standing on the pedal to make it go around. When you are in the first gears your legs go around very easily, and quickly, it takes very little power/torque to do so. It's why you almost always recognize a slipping transmission in the higher gears.
