What’s the thoughts on these Gents?
I can’t decide whether they’re a bit “busy”.

I can see them being a git to keep clean. The indents for each diamond would fill up with every speck of dust, grit and muck knocked off shoes by the high points of the diamond pattern.

They would also show muck and wear quickly as the side panels would remain mostly untouched to show up the contrast between the like new and used sections.

We don’t get a lot of muck here on the GC so I’m not too concerned by that. Take your point though.

I got a set (not the diamond pattern, but the simpler pattern one), rear fitted just about ok, the fronts no chance.

Did you send them back? They claim they’ll fit well.
I didn't - I was caught inbetween moving from Dublin, moving to Luxembourg, lockdown and doing my annual accounts and just back burnered it.

The bit I couldn't fathom was how to 'trap' the edges under the sill plates they're as tight af and no wy will the diamond thing fit under that nicely even if I could get the sill plate off.

There was a mouldy Iced Gem stuck in the corner of the parcel shelf in my Dad’s mini for yonks. I reckon these will have the same issue.

Also they should look good but don’t.

Were you thinking of them for the Rangie?
Not really, I think it comes with a decent set of mats as it is. That said,74507
If it doesn’t I thought the diamond check might compliment the seats.
Black and white stitch.

I did like them.
I was thinking of a set for my old GT-S to break up the sea of black inside. Was still gonna go black but with white or silver stitching to match the seats and add a few extras as per above linked thread.
But as Slays ones didn't fit the rear, I decided not to.
But don't think it would suit my new one.

If you like them, go for it. If we all had the same taste, it would be a very boring world.

I've got these and like them.

They're hard wearing transparent flexible plastic. You can see the lovely beige carpet through them but can't make it dirty. Wins all round. The downsides are minor:
Rear mats a bit undersized but not really a problem. You need to take a Stanley knife to the driver's mat to trim it.

Reminds me of my late Grans house carpet protectors!!

My mate has a swanky new full fat range rover with lovely soft leather seats, which he covers with seat protectors.
It's like saving your girlfriend for the next bloke!!
