Looks a decent car, well priced and low miles. Variators done as well so must be worth a look.

This one popped up on AT yesterday.
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201807108320109?atmobcid=soc3

Variators have been replaced under extended warranty by the main dealer. Looks like great value given color combo, mileage etc... assuming it is well sorted. Does anyone know this car?

Given that the PPI on the 612 I had put a deposit came back with a few biggies, I walked away and am back in the market for a exotic 4 seater...

About as far away from you as you can get in the UK! Nice low miles though. No idea where you would get a PPI up there but surely there would be sensible garage in Aberdeen which could help. Ask on PH?

The upside is that the roads up there are stunning so you can have a great test drive/drive back.

Phil is a well sorted car indeed - but for the same price I’d rather go with a car with half the mileage and FMSH assuming that car is well sorted too

Your call, of course. Personally I'd always buy off forum than unknown private, but it's not my money, in this case.

I think I understand where you’re coming from, but I am hoping there some people who also like their cars and take care of them and yet don’t hang out on this forum.
I wouldn’t buy without a PPI anyway (not that it’s a bullet proof way of buying a car)

Ironically, the 612 i put a deposit on and ended walking away following a PPI was the car of a member from a well known Ferrari forum.... just saying!

Looks a great buy to me, history looks good, and on that mileage should be pretty much like new!

I bought my mc shift 71k Miles, private sale, no ppi, it’s been fine, on original clutch too, needs doing but still drives fine

No I mean when was it last serviced? When was the clutch done? Have the Variators been done?
It says October 2017, 24k

And I doubt it’s had a clutch when average you get 40k out of them and variators are probably still fine

In that case it's down to clutch wear/ test drive. Buy it then it's a great price and great car...

Bellend! I did'nt and still don't see that sentence on the very limited description of the car on the AT advert.

Exactly, can’t see Variators... add £3k to price to do it... then add clutch £3k...

3rd line of text...Can’t understand why it’s not in the write up on AT as it must be the first question from those who are aware...
