Door regulator 2002 CC Spyder

Hi everybody ,
RH door regulator needs replacing for 2002 Spyder ...... after a fix once before . I see this is quite a problem . We have been quoted 800 Quid for the part....being at the bottom of the world wanted to check if there is a cheaper avenue available to us ?? Any help much appreciated .

Alfa GTV part with the window drop, I believe. Happy to assist if it saves you more in terms of postage etc

Need to have a look at mine as they are starting to get noisy. Is the Alfa unit a direct fit of does it need modifications? I think I have a pair somewhere.

The Alfa GTV part is not a direct replacement but you can rob the parts into your existing mechanism but you do need the later auto drop version.

Also mine sheered off and broke in two and I had to get it welded. Whilst you have it out get the 3 spot welds strengthened.

Cool, I need to sort out a load of spares I have in the garage & sheds for various Alfas so I will see what I find. Had a mail from Emblem last night to say the drivers door handle had stopped working yesterday so they are going to strip the door to have a look at it and they will have a look at the mechanism whilst they are in there.
