Drilled Brake Discs

Not Maserati related per se, however, Masers have drilled discs.

My Merc needs new front pads (getting done tomorrow) however, I've noticed on the drilled discs that the holes ( the drilled bit) are clogged up with brake dust.

What's the best (quickest) way to remove this? As surely it's hampering the braking performance to a degree?

Yep drill it out; only half way through from each side though as they should be staggered!

You imagined for a moment they actually might? The go to would be new disks anyway!

What's interesting is the GT (S) discs on my car have holes that are aligned so you can drill right through. On the 4200 and 3200 they were staggered.
