Hi guys, it's that time of year again! Dave Morris has got in touch and if anyone wants to form part of an Italian car display at Oulton Park on the Bank Holiday Monday, let me know and I'll get free tickets to get in. I'll post up details when I get them.

Just got an e-mail from Dave Morris and he says, timings permitting, we'll get a couple of parade laps this year. Also, there are free tickets for drivers and passengers worth £38. A free day out watching racing with track time thrown in, what's not to like?!

The key phrase is time permitting. If we have the level of enthusiastic driving that we had last year then the time taken to clear up the debris will put paid to the parade laps. It would be fun if they come off though. The lap at Brands was great.

Personally, I always regard the parade laps as an on-the-day bonus. If it happens, great but if it doesn't you still get to watch the 'enthusiastic' racing for free.

Oh, it wasn't a complaint. I'm more than happy with the day out and the racing. If we get a parade lap or two its definitely a bonus.
