I have just reversed and noticed that my reverse warning bleepers are not working. Also the reverse lights are also not working it would appear. Fuse problem or switch on gearbox perhaps. Anyone know or had this problem before? if it is just a fuse could anyone tell me where said fuse is located.
Thanks in advance.

Try fuse number 11 in the inside the battery compartment.
(see pages 165 and 167 in your owners manual for locations etc)
Hope it works!!

I changed the fuse number 11 and it made no difference. Is there perhaps a switch on the gearbox that controls the reverse lights and the rear beepers? If this could be the problem then is it easy to get to does anyone know?
Thanks
Phil

On the CC there is a micro switch under the toggle...but I would have thought it would impact on getting the car into gear.

Poxy little plastic switch on the gear Quadrant, pull the gator up and you will see it, the tags break off the switch, i ended up gluing mine in place, if the switch is in place and working, check the gear lever pushes against it in reverse, if it misses it you will need to get the linkage adjusted at the gearbox end.

Many thanks Andy. I will have a look tomorrow. Do you know if it is simple to get the gear lever gaiter off?
Thanks

Thanks Andy,
Yes that fixed the problem, the gear lever only just makes contact with the micro switch. I relocated the switch better but it may well happen again. if it does I know how to fix it now.
