Can anyone advise on what wash kit you would take with you (if any) for the car if you were away from home?

cheers

I feel a bit guilty Andrew as when I toured England and Wales last year for 2 weeks I didn't wash the car until I got back. That said if knew I could get access to a hose and bucket(s) then a simple kit would be wollen mit, shampoo (Autoglym), wheel brush and chamois (yes, I know - I need to change to a terry).

My wife bought me the hand luggage vials so I could decant a small amount of shampoo etc rather than carry the large bottle.

If it is just a week end break I wouldn't bother washing it while away to be honest

Cheers

Nigel...theres maybe a bit of peer pressure on the board....:)......which in this instance is a good thing.....as I remarked before...I realised all I was doing before was re-distributing the dirty all over the car in time past!!

Now have a clearer way/rationale for properly clearing, and a very much nicer/lovable car to keep well....so am a bit more aware of how best to do it!

Yup, a bucket, mitt, fly de-bugger, waffle, and shampoo, when I go away......acess to hose very welcome as then you don't need a 2nd bucket to rinse!

nigel, anything over a week I would probably wash the car, handy having the smaller bottles Id say.
I believe you can get collapsable buckets, might be worth investigating
