Not watched.....cos none of them ( like most USA reality type shows) speak recognisable English....where are the sub titles/voice overs I ask you

As for Chasing Classics, the guy always sold low....and bought high.....great business model!

I really enjoy F&L. There's plenty of humour and some personality involved as well as some interesting builds. It's got more scripted as time has gone on, but it's still watchable.
The problem with these American 'reality' shows is that the first series is usually very natural and more genuine. As each series gets commissioned more and more scripted nonsense comes along and they're about as far from reality as they can get. The 'stars' are paid very well for each episode, the business at the core of the programme becomes a shell and the income is mostly derived from merchandising. Pawn Stars and Counting Cars are great examples of this.
