Nice spot Frank. Shame about the 15 quid postage but i guess it is a heavy item to ship

yeah, looks like a different seller. This time it's 'dicklovettsportingltd' and they are off an F430 apparently as opposed to a California! The real dicklovett perhaps?

Yeah, I have seen this kind of thing before too Phil. You bid on an item and apparently get outbid. Then the seller resubmits the item either as a different user name or claiming they had been messed about - in those cases it is clear to me that they are using another fake eBay ID they themselves have set up to bid on the item hoping that a genuine buyer gets into a bidding war to up the price. Its an age old auction tactic of course - happens at motor, antique and property auctions up and down the country.

I have even had a scenario where I have been outbid and then days later you get an email from eBay advising that those who bid higher have retracted their bids and all of a sudden you are the highest bidder once again!

Anyway, you lot should know to be wary of fleabay auctions or any auction for that matter. The age old advice of do your research and never bid more than you planned to always applies.

Guys, I hear what you are saying about some shady dealings on auction sites, am sure it happens and as always 'buyer beware'...
but I can assure you that dicklovettsportingltd is 100% genuine...if the hammer falls at 99p, you will get whatever part it is for 99p,
I know from personal experience...
I have no doubt these bolts are genuine and will go to the highest bidder at the end of the auction

ive already rung DL and checking whether they will be anygood for the gransport , pretty sure the thread is the same , its the length which i believe is in question , but i have some spacers i wish to use them with so hopefully when Gavin comes back to me they will be long enough, but they are pucker and DL are not prone to inflating ebay bid prices

regards loz

Great to hear that the DickLovett ebay ID is indeed genuine. For the avoidance of doubt, I wasn't in any way insinuating that that particular eBay ad was shady in any way. I was just pointing out that you should always be wary and take the usual precautions.
