Just looking through those pictures, reminded me of the commentators changing the names of the corners from Clarke Curve to Curva Clake and Druidi for err Druids, but best of all was Collina Curvare del Paddock... Well, it amused me...

Really good to see Chris (CatmanV2) and Graham (del mar). The racing was good fun and myself and Mrs GP spent a lot of time watching that, which was good. There do need to be more stands, more of a market feel would be ideal. The parade lap is on far too late in the day, we did it this year (didn't bother last year) but it was nowhere near as much fun as the first year when we went around the whole circuit not just the indy.

It was fun but I agree the organisers need to develop it or risk it drifting.

I thought it was better, you could at least drive round the circuit, and I didn't overheat !!

It would be a shame if there wasn't a good turnout at next years event, assuming it takes place. I think last year felt better because of the weather and the forum having a much better pitch.

Surely meeting once a year at Brands, surrounded by some other nice metal and a backdrop of motor racing, has to be as good as an evening watching traffic at the Ace Cafe?

Didn’t go this year for a number of reasons. The parade lap from last year being one them.

The organisers need to decide what it is. A race meeting with some cars to look at or a celebration of Italian motoring.

If organising a parade lap for everyone is too much perhaps they should look at doing two or three smaller ones between the racing. Invite certain clubs to each, maybe on alternate years or something.

I was going to attend but the front end of my car was still in bits - only got it back together last night.

As I registered and was a no show I just got an e-mail from them saying that they had a large number of no-shows this year and would like to know why I didn't turn up. Guess this is a good opportunity to give the general feedback

Although I did not show up it sounds like it was more like last years event as opposed to 2 years ago when they launched it. I think the very first show was more about the owners cars and demonstrations on the circuit as opposed to what they have made it into for the last two years which is a race day... perhaps this generates more revenue for them somehow but it has put off the owners that they want to attract apparently.

The annoying thing for me, was for an Italian day they had races with a Ford, a Caterham, a Mini, a Hillman and probably a few others.

Instead of that they could have had a parade of owners Ferrari's, Maserati's Lambo's etc I'm sure it would have been much more interesting, and you would probably get more appreciation from the crowd.

Some of the pics that didn’t make the magazine event report are going to be going on Modern Classics magazine’s Facebook over he next few days. One set has just gone up.
