This might seem like a daft question, but not really, if you have never driven down that area. I will be going down the M6 and heading for Eynsford which is close to Brands Hatch and spending a couple of nights there prior to Sunday. Is it better to drive M6/M45/M25 and approach circling London, sort of clockwise, or M6/M40 and approach from the opposite direction ?. Route planners only show a small difference in time, but local knowledge would be most appreciated, cheers.

Really not a great deal of difference, we live not far from Brands Hatch / Eynsford and often go to north Wales \ Liverpool, traveling up normally M25/M1/M6 but often return M6/M40/M25 counter clockwise.

Cheers guys, thanks for the advice it’s appreciated. Looks like need to be there early or the doors are locked!

Hi Conaero, I already have a ticket with the correct (Sports Maserati Forum Stand number printed on it) but is it really necessary to be through the main gate between 07:00 and 08:30 am. That is what the ticket stipulates, I can do that if necessary, but what’s it been like in the past.

The Mrs, as patient as she is, Is beginning to tire of most of our social events being some how car/Motorsport related.

I pointed out area 3 on the map & all is rosy again in Crofty's household! :D

See you Sunday....assuming the old Ghibli makes it.
