If I found I was related to royalty and they owed me millions without question I'd get the chequebook out to turn my MX5 into this

We had a test drive in the Abarth 124. It was great fun. Oddly reviews cut both ways. My feeling is that the 124 is more usable day to day. I'd have the Abarth over the regular one and hang the cost.

A colleague of mine has the Abarth 124 Spyder and absolutely loves it. He's had 911s and Vantages in the past and so he knows a bit about performance cars

Sounds like you have made up your own mind Robin....do it!

Yer right, Matt. Probably wait until the dust settles after house move, and go searching for a demonstrator or second hand in the depths of winter, best time to buy ragtops.

How are 2nd values holding up....being Fiat they aren't general all that good but as a sports car maybe it will be better.

Too early. Only demonstrators available yet. With a top end model retailing around 25k, demonstrators going for about 17-18k with a couple thousand max on the clock. Looks like that they aren't shifting. I'll let them stew for a few months, not interetsed in buying new and expect the prices to continue to squeeze
