So I'm planing on a little trip with her indoors.
Monaco for a long week next month.
Any ideas how much this will cost me in fuel.
Also my car was only serviced 1k miles ago is there anything you guys would check on your cars before a trip like this.

Dependant on routes and speed, about a grand for fuel, tunnel, tolls and parking.

Would suggest the Route Napoleon from Grenoble to Nice as a great drive away from the auto routes. Check our my you tube post from a few years back.

It entirely depends on how you're driving it, not just the number of miles, but whether you're going over the windy, hilly bits and how spirited you'll be.

I'd work it out at your normal mpg going motorways all the way, then add a couple of tanks full for diversions up and down mountains just to be safe...actually, maybe three. But then again, I was on the windy bits all the way from Lyons last time I did it.

I did it this year from Manchester and it cost me £1100 in fuel. That was via Calais, autoroute to Mont Blanc, through the tunnel, autostrada to Modena and then on to Monaco. Did spend a day fannying in the alps though on the way back and came back over the top.

Like your planned road trip Steve.

Did you get the window problems sorted out fully?

Take it just clear pollen filter drain and dry the electrics?

before taking off check how much is left on your clutch and have the f1 relay replaced. Lot of people have done the route Napoleon here.

Make sure your AC gas is topped up, take some bug spray for the windscreen and carry the normal travel stuff, I also take redex for the odd fill I'm not sure about just to keep her running smooth..!!

There was only 45 % use when I got her. So should be ok with that. As for the ac relay I haven't a clue which relay is for what as haven't a user manual for the car which I need to get hold of.

Best idea GP, no trying to fix it at side of road, or letting a Euro bodgit have a go either, just get it picked up..!!
