It's true what the article says about the Dutch. I have a good friend working in Belgium and he points out that the Dutch are model motorists in Holland but the minute they cross their border they go wild. You do see that behaviour in France too, they pile on the need for speed.

I don't think you see Brits speeding more over here than in the UK but doubtless the boys-in-blue have a mandate to target them.




I'm in France at the moment and my QP has an answer for les flics: sitting in the sun the other day the heat got too much for the adhesive pads on the number plate and it fell off. I was tempted to leave it off - it would solve a lot of problems

Ditto BB...was flashed only the once...............one of their cameras low down on roadside under a tree..........route national...only doing over the tonne....

The ones that photo your backside are quite big (!) but mine was a forward facing pole by the roadside.

I got 3 flashes on the Le Mans trip but not heard anything. Almost a pity; I would love to send the ticket back with a two word précis as to what they could do with it. Or a 3 letter response of F.O.C would suffice and that doesn't mean free of charge!
