Front brake pads for 3200Gt, price 20GBP? Good enough for german highway?

Dear friends, want to discuss about my new front brake pads: bought them on ebay for around 20GBP, one day delivery. The only problem are: no possibility for the warning contact, because on wrong place (for me no problem, because I look each month with my eyes to my brakes!), and they are 0,2mm to large, but no problem for me with a electric grindstone. fitted them last month, driven now 800km, and they are better then the originals, tested them on highway, brake down from 140mph to 0mph some times, and there was no smell or other problems..., here is the link, I bought from:

good price for the pads! They seem to be from SCT-Mannol (which seem to be just a reseller)with a spanish E8 approval , would be interesting who actually manufacures them

Hallo to my Maserati friends: first wish you a nice time before Christmas, and now my report about the 20 GBP brake pads: after 4.000km with the cheap pads, I can inform you, there are no problems, also after break down some times from 140 mph, only the warning contact has no function, but at each cleaning the wheels I look at the thickness of the pads. No the car has 196.000km, and runs ok, new is the Problem sometimes the ERROR light Comes on, but after new ignition, it disappears. Will have a look.....

Uli, the ERROR light will more than likely be an intermittent problem on one of the actuators for the shocks. Look under the washer bottle for a red plastic actuator and when you turn the ignition on to MAR have someone listen for it clicking, if it doesn't clck then you know which one is not working properly. They can be removed and cleaned or even reworked for a reasonable fee.
