Ghibli Interior Dome Lights

I can see lots of posts on different forums about the Dome Lights not switching off but mine just don't work. Was thinking the chances of the bulb needing replaced in both the front and rear was slim, but can't see a fuse listed as covering these. The reading lights work but are very dim, which I presume is how they are supposed to be?

Also wondered if someone had disconnected them after having the better known issue of them not switching off.

Any ideas/info?

Do you have the stupid dial in the right position? Mostly the 'not turning off' is when you have it clicked to max brightness. I *think* if you turn it all the way down the never come on.

God alone knows what the designers were thinking of. Rioja probably
