Blue Interiors are definitely Marmite. Depends if that blue car has had variators and recent clutch which is worth 6k on the price.

Agreed, it has had variators done under warranty at Stratstones and a clutch with release bearing etc at 36500.

Then it's pretty much the same as mine .Just very limited market as it has a very marmite colour combo. Not for me but wtfdik.

Most of this thread is where I am on getting back into a Maser. The car that best suits me is probably a 4.7 MC Shift but I have been concerned about the running costs. A 4.2 might be a more sensible option but I suspect I would be thinking I should have gone for the 4.7. Which leaves a QP GTS, perfect in every way just its a saloon, a good one I agree, but not a sports car.

Which gets me back to looking at alternative options, a 06 / 07 Cayman S and a Fulvia 1.3 S are favourite unless I blow all the budget on another classic and go for a Fulvia 1.6 HF

It must be the epitome of marmite as I think it’s stunning and some obviously don’t. I’ve a good client and friend who has a QP GTS with that interior and I love that too. I am also a fan of GS’s with Blu Scurro interior but I am fully aware that isn’t everyone’s favourite colour. It does stand the test of time better than any other colour though.

I have to say, I'd go for Phil's. The blue simply is too much for me. If it was the same paint but tan, or even black inside I'd be really struggling.....

so is the MC shift the same 6 speed manual as my 2006 QP Sport GT (no s ) ?
I do like the GT look , fancy a 4.7 but turned off somewhat by the auto box.

Not the same, but an updated similar version. It’s the same as in a 599.

Well I bought a Granturismo last week!

58 plate 4.2 with 30k on the clock, Grigio granito with cuoio leather. I love it

I paid a fair bit less than the budget I'd set, in the end I decided that having a war chest left over to cover any potential big bills gave me a nice warm feeling and that made me feel happier about taking the plunge rather than stretching the budget to get a 4.7 and then having no cash left over!

i know it's an MC Shift but that blue med with blue alcantara GTS that Mr Grace sold last year is on the market privately (for the second time since Richard sold it) for only £32k with 41k miles. That appears to be the pick of the bunch at the moment.

Where is the med blue car listed?

Well done for taking the plunge.

Where abouts in the SW are you? There are a number of alternatives for services round here.

I just need to find someone to service it now as it seems Ftech may not be an option
Congrats on the car Matt. But why may FTECH not be an option? They serviced two of my Masers very thoroughly last summer.

I'm in Plymouth, so Ftech in Exeter would have been great. Carrs the main dealer is an option I suppose

Oh. I'd not heard that.
They are/were a sponsor on here. Is that news "official"? If so, where has Dan gone to?
