Granturismo squeaky when damp!

I've done a quick search on here but nothing matching what I am encountering (I think).

Only had my car since March and it's been going well (generally) but I am noticing the following;
- When it's raining (or has recently been) and the car is wet / damp, she makes squeaks and groans like the pensioner I will one day become!
- I can't hear it at speed, this is when in slow traffic (with or without brake pedal being feathered)
- It's very noticeable reversing off the drive with a bit of lock on - really sounds like some old timer of a car (it's a 2015 vehicle)!
- Turning the steering wheel also emits a squeak which sounds like it's inside the cabin (doesn't get louder if I drop the window)
- Once she's dry again, no groans! Normally one day of dry weather is enough to cure the noise.

Does anyone know what this is and the (hopefully not eye wateringly expensive) remedy? My own bit of reading seems to point at maybe silicone lube needed in the bushes (although don't know how to get to them without a ramp)?

I also have some occasional squeeks, but never when going over bumps in the road or speed humps. There's no set pattern, but generally going at low speeds.

I've lubed all the bushes myself but still get the occasional squeak at the rear. I've learnt to live with it

You don't need a ramp to do them though. Just jack the car up, lower it onto jack stands, then take the wheel off to get access to the suspension.

Got the mot done yesterday and asked the guys to silicone lube the bushes for me.
It's not been that wet since so need more time to assess, but fingers crossed.
Passed the mot with no advisories so that's something!

Mine squeaks when I first drive up the road if it hasn't been used for a while, it stops after a few hundred yards though

Yep, mine too (wet or dry) - the previous Strad did it also as did my first MC-Shift

I also get a different squeak when I first drive the car away in the morning, but yes it stops very soon (seems to come from rear of car, maybe handbrake..)

But what I was hearing is on-going squeaking e.g. when I was in a car park a couple of weeks ago and it had been raining most of the day.

As it's been quite dry the last couple of days, haven't had the opportunity to see if the silicone has made any difference. Being UK, I am sure the rain will come soon enough!

Squeak when wet is a weird one. I don’t think it’s suspension. I’d look at door/bonnet/boot seals. A bit of gummipfledge or that silicone based dash shiner beloved of car dealers will lubricate them nicely so your moist fun doesn’t disturb the neighbours.

I don't think it's seals, but anyway a good reminder to put some silicone spray on them in advance of the poorer weather that's coming soon.. and maybe it will help with squeaks.
