It's this forum that made my mind up on getting the gs. Great place to find a wealth of information with plenty of banter throne in. And meeting people from different backgrounds with a common interest. Well done Matt. And all you that organise the meets great job. Looking forward to the Xmas do.

Thanks Steve, comments like this make it all worthwhile but don't forget Dem, Maf, Newton and Phil, they do a lot of the work behind the scenes too.

Also past Mods such as Emtee, Loz, Parisien and BennyD along with people like Hodroyd, Morebeans and Drewf who help enormously too.

Getting a specialist forum to half a mill and it still being strong and vibrant is no small feat so all admin and mods past and present should take a bow........yes, even benji ;) well done!

I can only agree with Steve - met some great people, many thanks for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, I envy the time and passion you have commit to the cause, the forum has definitely helped in owning and running one of the most underrated performance cars.
Ferraris and Lambo' s are two a penny. But a MASERATI

Thanks. It's always a pleasure and never a chore.

Have made many close friends on here and spend a lot of time with them away from the forum.

A couple of weekends ago 5 or 6 of us met up for a night out in London and next week I am on a stag Doo in Benidorm with a few others.

I also know of many other splinter social groups too, it's become less about the cars and more about the shared experiences.

Great times.

Congratulations :)

As a newbie around here, and someone who has been active in many online communities, I have to say, SM is probably the most welcoming and friendly I've found. It's relatively small, and there is, as you'd expect, a lot of you who clearly have been around a while / have met / know one another / in jokes etc. but you manage to do it a way that doesn't alienate us newer users.

This is the most informative and friendly forum I've ever used. Had members help me on here, phone and even came over.
So far I've never been left stranded away from home, thanks to those who were on the end of the phone and got me going.

Am sure like me a lot of us would have given up with our cars without the forum. I remember having a £10k bill the 2nd year of ownership and was going to sell up. Found this place, the costs have gone down dramatically and I'm always smiling now.

Roll on the next 500k posts.

The recipe is quite simple, the car is boss not you, me or anyone else. Add what you know or find out and be yourself...

And buy a round... Lol

I have said before I do not think you ever own a Maserati
either
they own you or you are merely looking after it for someone else
