Hi all,

Just a quick post. I am currently in the process of organising a Car Show and Fun Day due to take place on Sunday 19th May 2013 at the Stanborough Park, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL8 6DQ. The show is being held in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation Charity http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk/ and we are seeking participants to show there vehicles. The show will be free entry to show vehicles and there passengers. The general public will have to pay an entry fee. It will be a fun and lively day for all the family as there will be live music, children's rides, catering facilities, local radio station broadcasts, stalls selling different products and an award ceremony for the Best in Show vehicle.

I would be extremely grateful if you are interested to show your car at our show please send me your confirmation of your support for what promises to be a fun and lively day out and help us make some more wishes come true.

You're only 20 minutes from me. Are Alfa Romeo engined cars acceptable? If so, I could bring along my Stratos replica.

ETA: Ah, I see that you've posted the message in several sub-forums.

Hi all,
Thanks for looking at my post, and also your support :) The show is open to all makes & models to make the show as interesting as possible, Elliot it would be great to see your Stratos at the show. I have contacted a large number of car & bike clubs with details of the show and had a good response. I have local car dealerships attending like: Land Rover, Peugeot, BMW Mini, and already spoken to HR Owen and Aston Martin who have shown interest in displaying current models. We also have a guy from West Yorkshire coming down to display his Delorean which is based from Back to the future car http://www.fusiontimetravel.co.uk/gallery.html If you know of anyone who would like to display any vehicles at our show please pass my details onto them to email me.
I will be down at the Ace Cafe meeting this Thursday in my QP to say hi, see you all then.

If I still have my QP by then (you never know, a lot can happen in 5-6 months!) I will bring it along - you are just down the road from me. Good luck with the show.

Hi thanks for posting that you will come along or try to support us. I will post a monthly newsletter like above just to keep everyone up to date with who's attending etc. In the meantime if you know of anyone that has a vehicle that would like to show at our event please pass my details onto them to contact me :)

What sort of stuff are you looking to show? At this rate it looks like you could have a decent paddock of Masers, if we all scrub them up well. Should sound nice as well :)

Hi C & Elliot, we are looking for all types of cars from vintage to modern from Hot Rods, Modified, Sports Cars, Kit Cars, Classic Cars and also motorbikes. It would be great if we have a large number of Maserati cars :)

Elliott it would be great if you can bring your Hawk along with your QP.
