How do I disconnect the battery?

The part is about £300, same one on all 4 wheels. Usually its the front that goes and any competent village garage can change a front in under 2hrs/£150.

The rear is slightly more involved but not a lot.

What you do need though is to get it diagnosed as to which one it is (its stores a code in the ABS ecu) which again, most garages have aftermarket scanners that can do this too.

I did a front on my GS (basically the same part) and I had that done in under 2hrs too.

Incedently, on my 2011 Stradale, there was a quick release on the battery, cant remember on which terminal but its not that obvious when I first looked.

I checked 4 Maserati specialist garages in the Nort West and one main dealer ( Bowker Maserati) and they all came back with a price for the hub of £617 each plus couple of hours labour to fit. The cheapest is Autoshield in Manchester £617 plus £85 to fit plus the dreaded VAT and came well recommended. So not far off £1k per corner. It's just a long trek to Manchester from my gaff...

ps. for the hub, there are several on eBay, and replacing them is simple enough that a 3 year old can do it.

it's literally four bolts (plus the lugs and the two caliper bolts) and the connector.

Well I would if I could get my ring near enough, but it is a tight fit.

Can you undo the securing bracket at the front of the battery with the wing nuts and move the battery out slighty to give you more room to undo the negative lead. Depends how much slack there is on the terminal leads.

Here’s the Strad which I would assume was the same as the QP. Grey quick release on the neg terminal:
