Independant Maserati GranTurismo servicing, anywhere near York?

If I take my GranTurismo Auto S outside the main dealer network, what options do I have within striking distance of York?

Ready for the "4 year" service - you know, lambda sensors, fuel vapour filter [charcoal] & the PAS fluid change

Not close, but an hour to Autoshield Maserati in Manchester. They have all the brand new diagnostic equipment from Maserati, can do any software updates etc. They would be less than a main dealer too and great service.

I'm in West Yorks and I use Autoshield, they are excellent. There is an Indie in Sheffield, but I have not used them and know little about them.

That will be Millbrooke Cars, I've used them twice and they've been pretty good.

Regarding Autoshield, I had considered them but on a recon didn't like where I would have had to drop the car off. Am I right in thinking you drop it off at a small shop and they then drive it to another unit?

The garage unit is directly opposite the shop.

I have been leaving my car with them for over three years and always safe as houses.

Normally 8 to 12 Massers scattered about of varying vintages

I know with the 4200 the biggest service of above not done until I did it at 8 years old........no one seems to truly bother......ask Mario's opinion.....safe as houses your GT with them

4 year service on a GranTurismo is the 2 year service plus the lambda sensors and fuel cans. Main dealers quote £2500+ so it will be interesting to see what the saving is.
