Intermittent ASR warning

Hi All,
The ASR warning light on my 2000 3200GT is coming on intermittently. The car can run fine all day and then the ASR light will come on for no reason (or maybe it is detecting some wheelslip) and stay on, next morning the warning will be out and all OK until it randomly comes on again.
The onboard diagnostics say it is the computer, but I have had the computer tested by two different specialists and both say it is OK. We have cleaned contacts etc, but not solved the problem.
Has anyone seen this before or have a suggestion?

I’m going back a few years now but seem to remember intermittent ASR on a 3200 was down to the weight ont the accelerometer falling off and shorting the circuit I’ll see if I can find the thread. Phil, does this sound familiar?

Here you go but it seems this fault is usually coupled with fuse 16 blowing.

Phonic rings on the hubs is another intermittent fault on the 3200 but more associated with ABS or the other usual one is broken shock actuators:

Phonic rings is the culprit here definitely.
