Jaguar XF Diesel Opinions please.

The problem is importing it and the costs involved and steering wheel on the wrong side for my partner.
Me I would happily drive rhd as done it many times around Europe.

A friend of mine has just imported a Freelander. Some eBay headlights and a couple of hours of a local mechanic to swap them, €40 on a Contrôle Technique, and a few hours spent reading forums and queueing at the Sous Préfecture and it was done. He says, all in, it was less than €500.

He must have heard us discussing XFs. I parked up in a French supermarket car park this morning and the owner of an XF walked over to me to compliment me on the QP. After a few minutes' petrol-head discussion we got around to car prices. He couldn't believe what I'd paid for the QP and my estimate of its current value.

'I always wanted one of those, that's it, I'm off to Angleterre to buy one'.
