I'm watching Get Carter! (1971), seen it before but still a classic. I've racked up The Day Of The Jackal for next, and for bed, fall asleep in front of Goodnight Sweetheart, love that show!

It's actually been quite difficult moving here, what with new job, new country, COVID and not being able to go into the office, feel very hemmed in and a little lonely. As soon as things pick up in UK/Ireland I'm going back, I'm too old for this, I feel like a divorced man who's had to give all his stuff up and live in tiny studio flat! Luxembourg banking laws mean no access from outside LU so no working remotely from UK.

I have to fall asleep watching **** or I start thinking too much and getting miserable....

I need cheering up, so I hope Leeds United lose tomorrow and and don't go up!

Little known true story behind the McDonalds Monopoly game fraud.
Recorders set, Fox showcase, next week.

Laugh Out Loud : Australia.

Put 10 comedians in a room for 6 hours and if you laugh you're eliminated. Last comedian wins $100k.

There's a Mexican version, so expect a UK version soon.

I felt a bit like that when i was in Denmark ar first. Now I’m not a sociable person and I had friends there, but I forced myself out to talk to people outside of work and in different social circles. Swimming pool was an odd one, at 5am.....but, funnily enough, nearly a year out from Dk I still speak to them now.

I never felt like that in DK when I was there, or anywhere else. I think it's COVID/Isolation/lack of social interaction with workmates.

Plus probs I have to speak French here, in DK it's English everywhere and it's quite wearing....

We’re getting trailers for “The Salisbury Poisonings” which starts this week. It’s obviously based on the true story and looks like it’s worth a watch.
Has it been on in the Uk?

Just watched Valkyre! So good and historically accurate.

I saw that at the cinema on release, it was fairly full , mostly with guys my age because WW2

at the back there was a group of kids, 15-16 years old who must've been expecting saving private ryan not a dramatised documentary so they started talking, laughing , farting and generally being a PITA despite being asked to be quiet

at the end as we were leaving this guy stopped and had a right go at them, thanks for that lads you've ruined it with all your ******* about , he started a chain reaction of verbal abuse directed at them as they sank lower into their seats

It reminded me of that scene in airplane where people are queuing down the aisle to slap the hysterical woman
