Just seen this in my gym car park. They look better in the flesh than the usual photos....incredible! EFCC676D-23DF-4332-896E-B49C169830F2.jpeg

If you were to have said 'I saw an orange Lambo with gold wheels', that would have sounded terrible. But that actually looks like a lovely spec.

I'm still not sure about the carbon they use on this - it looks a bit messy compared to a carbon weave. Mind you I doubt it would put me off if I was in the market for one!

It was a stick on label sort of number plate, not legal I am sure but at least it shows an effort.....

The carbon is odd, almost like carbon offcuts stuck together. I always understood carbon to be attractive as a material because of the strength relative to the weight. I wonder if this weighs less than a traditional weave and if we will see it more often?? Personally I like the look of the traditional carbon weave. This stuff isn’t bad but it does look like a composite kitchen worktop if you are in a critical mood.

I saw a number of these the other weekend at a super car event and all were matt paint. This looked so much better being traditional gloss paint. It added to the drama and theatre of it all. As a price of automotive art they take some beating.

I really like the gold wheels. They look strangely fantastic against that deep glossy orange. Looks like a lovely spec (as long as the inside isn’t too orange as well).

Blxxdy lovely! Semi-matt orange would be my not-subtle choice. Been put off fezzas recently due mainly to obnoxious MD sales persons. Lambo and Macas looking better everyday.

Its called Forged Carbon and is lighter and stronger than standard carbon fibre, it also allows you to form more complex shapes, curves, transitional thicknesses etc

But it still looks kind of fugly.

That said, I really like the spec of the one Chris posted at the start of this thread (though I'd feel quite self-conscious popping to the shops in it).
