They have been sold.
Actually sore point, I saw them a week ago for sale, before last weekend. I agreed to buy them, all sorted ready to be posted to me this week, carriage cost being finalised before paying for them. Then someone else phoned... his wife answered the phone, agreed sale and the buyer being local called around straightaway paying with cash. Husband gets home from work, finds out what wife had done...he never told her they had already been sold to me.
For £400 my intention was to convert them to valved ones if my unvalved ones proved too noisy.
Someone has certainly got a bargain.

Hey Mike,

I've a pair that may be up for sale, as my car is up for grabs and not everyone wants a set of Larinis on when they buy, they just find they want them 3 months on ;-)

I've had a lot of bad luck with Maserati parts privately.
Agreed to buy a FD DBW module from the states, all sorted, then someone local offers cash locally, dumped.
Same again with a set of FD sport springs, all sorted, then again someone local offers cash locally, dumped.
We all would prefer a local buyer with cash...but when a deal is struck, I personally would not default on the distance buyer.

Thanks but I have a set of unvalved ones already fitted.
But for £400 was buying them to mod them to valved ones.
Cheers.

Sorry to hear of all your grief Mike, but when buying remotely or 3rd parties thrown into mix, can end up disappointing!
