Oh dear "wearing less disguise than ever". Does this mean that this look is close to the final product?

There was bit of me that hoped Maserati would see the light and scrap this as an idiotic idea which would only devalue the brand.......guess common sense loses out again :(

You can't really tell what it's going to look like under that wrap and whatever it is on the back , it's the inside that needs to be special because nobody buys a 4x4 for its looks

I hope Maserati succeeds with this and expands its sales base as hoped for.

Would I buy one personally? Not a chance.

But if its success means more refined future GTs, all power to it.

This. Every Porsche Cayenne is proof of the above point. If the interior is anything like the new Ghibli's it'll be a very nice place to be indeed.

Have no doubt the interior will be a nice place mark but I would say the Porsche fugly is also the point proved that a brand gets diluted when diversity and accountancy take over from ethos and marque expectancy.

The brand has set targets to grow sales to 75,000 units by 2018, of which around 3000 will be in the UK. "That's massive growth from where we were in 2013, when we sold 319 cars in the UK, but it is still relatively niche," said Cowan. "By 2018 we should have around 30 UK dealers - so that averages out at 100 sales per dealer, which should ensure customer service and experience remains top-notch."

319!!

The judgement of this company goes from bad to worse at regular intervals, what more could we expect..??

That will always be the case with narrow minded bean counters, continual "improvement" and targets to meet. They seem to lose sight of what made them money, or why people buy their product in the first place.
