i just thought id let you fellow owners know of my amazing deal i managed to struck at auto italia (didnt post previously as i was waiting to collect them!)

there was a stall there breaking a maserati 3200, and i needed front lower suspension arms so thought id ask, they originally wanted £300 the pair (which isnt bad really) and also considering 1 of them was almost new and £150 for an intercooler.

i was quoted over £500 by used parts people/ebay.

but anyway after some negotiation i got them down to £25 each! and £50 for the intercooler :)

so thats a £400+ saving !

haha, they then got me to re-stage the deal on camera, for 'Strippers: cars for cash' so they might even put it on the tv show :)

i have done so much! i wish i could say it was all simple, but nearly everything has required rather indepth investigation to find the cause of the problem, but i can now say im really happy with the car right now, happiest i have been about it since i had it, some of the reason explained below.

i had a knocking noise coming from the n/s/f which would happen now and again, sometimes worse, sometimes not at all, and a squeek under braking, couldnt find anything amiss so i lived with it for now, but while removing my led running lights from the front bumper, i was under the car trying to remove the wiring when i noticed something... the 2 bolts on the n/s/f subframe were loose! very loose- ie hanging out  i quickly tightened them up, took the car out for a drive- fixed! no noises at all :)
