OK, displaying my ignorance! In the User Manual it states that the diff and gearbox oil be replaced every 2 yrs, when I try to find what oil is required for the diff - nothing listed. So, is the cambio gearbox and diff combined?

No gear box and F1 gear change are totally different systems and require different fluids. The F1 is basically a hydrological system...the gear box oil is for cooling and lubrication.

Peter's right, but I think you were asking about the diff and gearbox oil - yes it is a combined system - Shell Spirax S5 ATE 75w90 is what is in my car. Book says '75w90 over the API GL4-GL5C API MT1-PG2 standards. Recommended ROTRA LSX' which I assume is AGIPs limited slip oil.

Thanks Guys, the manual say 2.8L is the gearbox capacity so I am assuming that includes the diff......?
