The car has had 2 owners in this time and has a documented history of services, MOTs and parts invoices. The last MOT was carried out at 38, 699 miles in April 2024 and expires on 13th April 25. Looks lovely. What about service in the last three years? Comprehensive but stops at 2020. Good luck with the sale.

I have a letter written by the previous owner that states a service was completed in April 2021, however as there is no stamp in the service book I haven't listed it. An oil service has been on my 'to do' list, the cabin filter was replaced by me this year, while clearing out the scuttle panel of debris. The gap in service history has been reflected in the asking price.

Not much interest so far, so have reduced the price to £12,500 which is peanuts for such a nice car in excellent condition. New car on order so need the Mas gone :(

That is cheap, I got £12.75k for my 60k 2005 manual a few months ago, albeit after a bit of a wait and just one strongly interested party. It would help your ad if you could state when the clutch was done, as clutch wear can’t be measured on a manual (my clutch had 10k on it from memory).

I don't have a record to say the clutch has been replaced, that is not to say it hasn't been done, I just don't have any paperwork to say it has. The manuals do seem to be more forgiving on clutch wear compared to the cambiocorsa depending on driver habits. I am sure I have read on here manual clutches lasting up to 80,000 miles. The gear linkages often need adjustment on manuals and the last owner did state this had been done. You apparently can visually inspect the clutch on a manual as there is a hole/gap in the gearbox but it involves getting right underneath the car.

Best of luck with the sale. It deserves to be more, for sure, but the market apparently says otherwise unfortunately. Someone is going to get a lovely car for not a lot.

Alas, I fear a prospective buyer will be pricing in a new clutch (and service) then; not sure of current costs but it isn’t cheap. Pity you can’t source any paperwork. Anyway, good luck with the sale, it looks like a nice example.

I agree with Ian a Maserati for that money is Value indeed.
One of my brothers has just spent 20K on one of those Obese Minis he was very brave telling me really but at least it's Petrol.

I think I paid £11k for my only manual 4200 in 2009, they were incredibly good value then. Lewis even took it to Emblem for the all clear on the day I bought it.

I've done over 100k on the second clutch in my manual. Not sure what the wear is but there is absolutely no sign of slipping.

The first clutch was replaced at 20k because apparently there was a problem with excessive damping on the clutch release.

Yep that’s me, only 13 years ago, Maserati does get under the skin doesn’t it ;)

Remember when you sold her Dicky…So wanted to be the one that took her off your hands. Wasn’t it Marcos old car before you….13 years has flown by. Remember us having a conversation about if you should buy a GT S before you started even selling cars as you thought you could turn it around and make some pennies. The start of great things buddy.

Yes it was Marcos (Lewis) car. I remember chatting to you about that GT S too, 13 years…..
