I don't have a record to say the clutch has been replaced, that is not to say it hasn't been done, I just don't have any paperwork to say it has. The manuals do seem to be more forgiving on clutch wear compared to the cambiocorsa depending on driver habits. I am sure I have read on here manual clutches lasting up to 80,000 miles. The gear linkages often need adjustment on manuals and the last owner did state this had been done. You apparently can visually inspect the clutch on a manual as there is a hole/gap in the gearbox but it involves getting right underneath the car.

Nice car, I'm currently looking for one but a later ULEZ compliant one so sadly yours won't work. That said, I can offer a couple of suggestions (both objective and subjective) from the eyes of a potential buyer:

Objective:
  • Photos: having now browsed ads for a while, the more photos of the car there are, the better. I can see 14 on C&C which is good but you can probably add more to show off it's in great nick (check other ads)
  • Ownership/reason for sale: short ownership can be a red flag so you'll want to give a good reason for the sale, even publicly (you mention it above) just to avoid people thinking it has issues (regardless of MOT)
  • History: I know the gap in service history is reflected in the price, but it's worth mentioning the owner's letter from April 2021 + cabin filter. Unless you're on this forum, it looks like it's had nothing done in 3 years. Have you considered getting a minor service done as part of the sale? It'll cost you a bit, but you'll stand to make at least some of it back - and you'll increase chances of getting the car sold
Subjective:
  • Exhaust: while I'm sure the Larini sounds great (I've yet to hear one), it may not be to everyone's taste. Was it factory-fitted? If not, a mention that you still have the original one may help
  • Private plate: may be an appeal to some but will be a no-no to others and a faff to sort out with DVLA. It can be sold but I'd be ready to bet most would prefer the car with the original reg on
  • Boot spoiler: again, may be an appeal to some but not to others. I'd say take photos without it (if that's easily done), and mention it comes with the car if someone wants to install it
  • Inspection: opinions may vary, but I'd say stating that you are open to pre-purchase inspections will make you come across as a serious seller with a well-sorted car (which it evidently is)
I can't see the washers for xenon headlights, and I'm guessing it's got no cruise control? Otherwise definitely worth mentioning either in the ad.

Last roll of the dice before the car goes off to WBAC for £8,500. It will have a fresh oil service / filter before sale. Wants for nothing, passed MOT last week with a single minor advisory (rear N/S service brake binding but not excessively) is in excellent condition throughout. £10,000 ONO

Looks lovely, before you get your hopes up have WBAC seen it yet, I've taken a couple there and apart from a van when prices were covid high they haven't even got close to the Internet price they offer

From my experience all WBAC want is very cheap cars to auction

What gets me, is that WBAC or whichever outlet they sell the car from will have similar issues of a small pool of potential customers. How wil they make a profit from it? Sell on to a specialist dealer who will in turn try and make another profit from it? If the OP cannot sell at 10k a dealer won't sell for much more unless he puts on a warranty.

The £8500 will be a lot less once their body and paint guy has had a look at it

with a worthless warranty tacked on there might be a few quid in it for them
