Didn't realise he sold.....

Yes I bought it from him a year ago this week. It sold last September after we’d got it all sorted. It’s a lovely car and the gentleman who bought it couldn’t believe how good it was.

If I recall correctly didn't Ewan spend a small fortune with Emblem recommioning after purchasing this particular example, including stripping the repainting the underside including replacing with new springs/antiroll bars/brake pipes etc?
So although the cars have increased in value due to market demand, in reality the increase in value from last purchase in this particular case has largely been spent already on the recommioning and upkeep I would imagine.
All benefitting the lucky new owner of course!

A great deal has also been spent at service and inspection and the fitting of a new clutch etc.

It is indeed my car. I’ve spent over £20k on it - which is why it is now absolutely perfect as opposed to only very good.
I’m in two minds about selling, as they are hard to buy if I wanted another. And it would nice to win a concourse event with it next summer. But given I now have the GC-MC, selling is the sensible option.

I'd keep it....cant see them going down ever & will only appreciate over time. I regret selling my SL60 which was 1 of 49 RHD.

Of course if your desperate to sell bend my arm and I'll take it for 45k!

Such awful timing.... I would desperately love this car, but am at least two months away from being able to pay for it....

Can everyone please not buy it until after the end of September

Rumour has it Ewan is selling up shop and scaling down to just 10 cars....

It does “look” that way. But as chance would have it, a tenant has just handed in their notice on a unit I have that holds about 8 cars on the ground floor, with offices above. I’ll take vacant possession in Dec, so will then have spaces to fill. I see a buying spree ahead...

Keep it then, you'll probably never find another, and you told me it was a keeper at Wilton a couple of months ago!

I don't think anyone can generally say 'it's a keeper' as in most cases an itch starts forming!
However my Stag I can safely say is a keeper after 32 years!

Remember he said that!

Haha, if a law came in and you could only have one car and one car only, i'd happy use the Stag everyday. I did for the first 4 years of ownership, summer and winter. The hardtop used to go on for bonfire night, and off at Easter, loved it! My glasses maybe a bit rose tinted though!
