Melbourne Maserati Group Sunday run

The more dedicated members of MMG journeyed to the Victorian countryside yesterday in the usual sunny weather with
light winds and excellent roads.

Starting in the cafe precinct of North Melbourne after several fine examples of the coffee makers art including a vist from Alvin with his mate's 360 Ferrari, four Gransports took to the hills. We soon caught up with Mike and his 3200GT and also his mate Alan's 360 Ferrari convertible.

After suitable red-lining through the very English woods/bush, we arrived at the Sault restuarant, Daylesford, the site of many Porsche Club Victoria weekend sojourns. We all parked next to a black Diablo, remarking on its presence, and went inside for sensational local wines and fare. What a great way to spend a pleasant Spring Victorian Sunday.

Imagine our surprise when returning to our steeds, the carpark was full of the lesser Italian marque - Lamborghinis. We did happen to take a few pics - you can see them here -

Just another day in paradise. We are indeed lucky people.

BTW, what's the weather and economy like in the mother country these days??

Cheers

Roger,

Sounds like a fantastic fun day out, well done..!!
The weather here is currently quite rubbish, grey, wet and cold, with fog in the mornings and at night some days. So no this is not paradise unfortunately, but it is your summer..??
Economy is just bobbling along with nothing to brag about really, most are in the same boat, or a lot worse. Debt Management is the order of the day and as usual the unions don't like it, stupid boys.
Love the pics, must be most of the best cars in Oz out there, fabulous.
Keep up the good work..!!
Cheers

Maserati & lambo day

Hi Roger,

what a fab day, and brilliant photo's did you get the Lambo guys, name number, it would be good to meet up with them again... maybe a joint run somewhere... I think I saw 3 superlegga in your photo's which must be half of all the Superlegga in Australia...!!

That was a big Lambo turnout...

Well done guys,, shame I could not make it.

Hi guys. I recently bought a 2007 QP and have been hanging out for a cruise for ages. I was free on 25 Oct and am kicking myself for not noticing the meet and cruise. I am in Europe now for holiday. When are you doing this again? :) And how do I join this MMG?
