Just bought an 1969 MGB GT, to restore.
Long shot but does anyone have any MGB bits lying around they don't want,
or wish to sell for the required beer tokens?

Just find out where there is a meeting and follow on behind. You'll be able to pick up spares as they fall off ;)

Oh my! I did that a few years back. It was actually good fun, and virtually every part is available. The rear of the roof, bonnet and tailgate were the only original panels left on mine! Enjoy.

Good plan , I'll give it a try here before starting my own thread

Just bought a 2002 Maserati 4200 to restore.
Long shot but does anyone have any 4200 bits lying around they don't want,
or wish to sell for the required beer tokens?

Barry Stafford MG parts in Stockport were always good on price and quick shipping.

Nice choice of car. I still want to own one at some point V8 would be nice or an MGB C.

I swept up all the bits that fell off mine many years ago; I sold it after the cat died as I didn't need a cat bed any more! (used to get in through the holes in the floor!!!)

Can't believe you would fit into one Newton ?
One things for sure there is a Big following for old English Iron so parts everywhere.
Has Frank still got his old Race one ?

Back in the day I was a beanpole Phil! Honestly till I was 25 I would drop to around 10 1/2 stone in the summer and plump to 12 or 13 in the winter! Fit as a butcher's whippet!

No problem with MG spares like no problem with Stag spares.
Which is good being well over 40 years old.
Unlike Maserati spares...

You should upgrade it to a GT V8 ........ and I am not thinking Rover !
A little Italian flair should liven things up nicely ( and would be just as unreliable as the original ) :boss:
