Nice, well looked after GT. Have you considered P/X for a Stradale? I suspect the difference between a trade/private sale would be liveable.

I have indeed but the offers coming in are a bit ridiculous considering how well looked after my car is - my car could go straight in to a showroom at over £12k above what I am being offered at the moment :frusty6:

I'd rather have someone buy the car privately and not pay over the odds for it from a dealer :)

fair point, you will get bombarded with daft offerings especially at this time of year. Selling a Maser privately is never an easy feat, although you could give Richard Grace a call as he is always taking new stock.

Good luck with the sale, it will be a tough car to replace but I think the Strad is just about the only car that will do that - I hope to be following the same path in a few years from now

Let me know how you get on MCS as that is my plan but from what the guys from Leeds have said when they usually collect my car for maintanence they say I should stick to none Strad as they think it's a nicer car.

Thanks for the words of appreciation gents :)

Yes it may prove a little difficult to shift privately but I have sold a DB9 and a Porsche Cayenne which were both more expensive than this car without any issues via Pistonheads. I think there are more time wasters on Auto Trader and PH seems to only attract a better buying audience.

December is probably not a good time to sell anyway but thought it's worth a punt in case someone wanted to buy themselves an Xmas present :D I am guessing the market will pick up around March time. I'm in no rush to sell so it's all good :)

Should get a bigger discount on a Strad at this time of year so, net, you should save money. Best of luck with the change.

When I tried to sell an identical car but with 13k miles 3 years ago, I also struggled. Richard Grace gave me close to what I was asking, so he is an option.

I saw this on pistonheads a month or so ago and thought it might be your car. I think it was the new steering wheel that gave it away after reading one of your posts on here about re-trimming one

God I want one, and I've been looking at your one a lot......

Indeed; I advertised it then took it off, then advertised it and took it off but I think I've finally made up my mind to sell it now :) Better be quick in case I change my mind again :D I have dropped the price quite a bit since I first advertised it a couple of month's back.

I've just been speaking to Richard on PM but I really need the 4 seats so it will have to be a 4 seater for me. The one Richard has is lovely but just not for me :)

Remind me, when did the 4 seater launch - around 2013 was it? I have seen the odd 4 seat conversion of the original 2 seater and they look like a good job but very rare
Good luck with your search

I think it was 2013 however I may even go in for a Gran Cabrio MC which can be had at least £20k less than an equivalent couple Stradale...for me the 4 seats is a must as if I was to buy a two seater my wife and kids will be wanting me to get a 458 :D

FYI I was sent this email by a main dealer today so there are deals to be had on new cars! I must add that I had not even begin negotiating a deal here and this was offered by the dealer without me even asking for a discount!

It was a pleasure speaking with you just now, following on from our conversation I have spoken to Maserati and they have given us support behind the deal to make it happen! We can go that little bit more on your forward order and do the car for £113,500 from £122,500! That’s a signification amount of a built to order personalized MC Cabrio, by ordering now Maserati will honour this amount, along with the price of the car before there is another price increase! The car will be a 16 plate ready for March/April delivery.
