I think its time I change my Granturismo sport tyres as I have completely ruined the tyres due to having a fast car and the temptations that come with it. can anyone please recommend a uk site that I can look for tyres due to working 24/7 so im not able to look at my local tyre supplier.

When you say 'look' at, for prices or delivery or what?

www.camskill.co.uk are generally well regarded.
Black Circles I have used with great success in the past (www.blackcircles.co.uk) but it's a franchise, so some are better than others.
F1 is where I normally get my stuff done now, in Harlow. They are generally excellent IME, and have no issue with me chatting to them while they are beavering away, which, of course, means I can keep an eye on what they are doing, and how they are doing it :)

P.S. sorry for the slow reply ;)

Not sure what the current recommendations for the GT are. Sadly, I don't have one (yet) ;)

Be interested how you get on with this Mark as I think mine will need changing soon (well rears anyway).
Not sure if the sport tyre sizes are same as GTS (I think so but could be wrong) or what other options than Pirelli.
Heard Camskill are good and certainly seem cheap. I always use Micheldever down in Hampshire but not sure what are you are.
Please report back if you come up with anything good.
Cheers Blu

All GranTurismo on 20" wheels have the same tyre size, obviously different front to back. OEM is the P Zero but some people are going for the Michelin Super Sports which have higher tyre wear and load indices.

Hey everyone thanks for the recommendations, I have looked around and found this site and got them from there just because they are cheap, simple to use and go the extra mile to make sure the job is done. I highly recommend them.

Yes, you have to do along way to still be Micheldever Tyres, worth a call.

Just bought four tyres for the Alfa from Camskill. First class service. Cost me £24 all in fitted locally.

Fitters are les likely to look after your alloys and use the correct torque on the wheels nuts if you have not bought from them. I prefer to use the internet sites to haggle local suppliers down.

Agree up to a point BigBob (a good operator will care, regardless?) but that is on the basis they can get the tyres you want. Issue I had was none of the local tyre depots had stock and offers to order in were far proving far more expensive. I saved £110 after shipping and fitting.

It just depends how different people react. Obviously you are saying to them that they are too expensive as a retailer but you will pay them £30-60 for an hour's work. Nothing against the idea but firms like Blackcircles get round it by offering fitting services as well.

I agree Bob even though I have regularly bought from Camskill that's only because a good friend has a Subaru dealership and I can trust him to install them well. I'd be careful otherwise.

Michelins all the way if money is no object. Otherwise try Vredestein Sessantas. They will surprise you.
