My new garage and home office.

So, for the past three months I have been working on my garage, converting it into a better home for the Stradale as well as a home office. I built the garage in 2012 but it was left as an empty shell as we also did a 2500 sqft barn conversion and the piggy bank was running low. Just got round to completing the work. I spend 2/3 days a week working at home and am very happy indeed to have my own space away from the wife/kids/puppy etc. It's also nice to have a home for some artwork that the Missus didn't want in the house such as my Goodwood poster which is signed by several famous drivers and bike riders or my Stirling Moss signed pictures which she thinks are sexist in this "Me Too" world!

Some before and after shots....quality is not great.....

And yes, I installed a toilet so I don't have to go into the house, basically ever....

Top work Athol and now has inspired me as I look to move and recreate my own BatCave.

Very impressive indeed.... Have you built another garage for the other cars and the general piles of **** that people tend to keep in the garage?

Thanks all. The washing machine was just because I could. Thought it would handy to have a spare to wash car cloths and the like with.

I forgot this picture. I wanted the garage to look the same from the outside so the joiner crafter this doorway and window which lets in light while i'm working. From the outside, nothing has changed. Picked up a brand new door and window off Gumtree for peanuts. It's amazing what's out there for sale!

As for the other garage stuff, I bought a dutch barn style shed for some of it and now have a huge attic for the rest of it with loft ladder, flooring, insulation, lighting etc. I may built another garage down the line if funds allow where I can store some more cars/bikes/tractors/stuff. For now, only the Stradale and the motorbike are worth keeping indoors. My daily and the wifes are in the drive as we use them so much and I never put them away anyway. The older cars in the early pics are all with new owners now, i forgot to take before pictures so these are all I have!

Matt - in the house, in the office, in the garage, whatever she wants!

Nice attention to detail Athol, I struggle to finish projects, hence why I'm freezing my nuts off in the workshop as the wind whistles through the soffits of the garage!
