NavTrak Battery drain problems

If you are experiencing battery drain, and do not use the NavTrak system, its advisable to disconnect it, as the battery in the NavTrak unit dies after 3-5 years and then drains power from the battery, which causes it to go flat after a short time.

If you remove the rear seat, you can disconnect it down behind the rear passenger headrest speaker:

You just remove the rear seat and disconnect the multi plug down the side of the passenger rear headrest speaker. There are 2 one is for the upper rear brake light so make sure you get the right one.

If you can't see it then your tracker is mounted elsewhere.

Hi, Matt

LOL, I thought I had battery drain, so I checked for the Navtrak unit. I found the diversity box below, which is nothing to do with the Navtrak, so don't disconnect it!

It turns out that it was just the rear passenger light that was left on! :)

Thanks,
John

John my Navtrak box wasuch bigger than that, I was about the size of a magazine and mounted to the underside of the parcel shelf and covered by a big aluminium sheild.
