So what do you think of the new California....I think it looks brilliant and a much better looking car than the last one even though it still has the same shape....Just reading the Piston heads road test its a rather good Ferrari as well..

Just moving the exhaust to the proper position makes it look a whole lot better to me.

If (big if) I was in the market for a fezzer, it would be the non-T Cali or a 550 Maranello. For me, two proper Ferraris. Do like the exhausts to be in the right place though, Andy...good spot.

Agreed, the dual set of stacked twin exhausts on the 'old one' was one of the things I disliked about it, and it accentuated it's rather large ars*!

The other thing I was never struck on was the centrally located bonnet engine cooling vent. I know it's been on previous Ferraris e.g. the 575 Maranello, but on the whole I'm not a fan of it (GranTurismo MC and Trofeo cars excluded). So I'm really glad they've designed the new California with the two engine cooling vents in the bonnet.
EDIT: Hmmm, for some reason I like the central cooling vent on the 550, but not the 575! Go figure! LOL

Furthermore, if you've seen an F12 Berlinetta in real life you'll be aware of how how much road presence the front end has, so I really like the fact that the new California has inherited some of the F12 styling cues.

All in all, all the styling tweaks has done wonders to the design, making it more aggressive, without losing it's sexy curves (IMHO).

I really am tempted by it, but I'm not sure how I can convince myself to get instead of other cars :/

Not for me, too many lines and creases going in different directions - it also looks like it's had a few to many pies :(

Just get one and add to your collection T...You know it makes sense...
I would if I could afford it LOL. But you have to draw the line somewhere. Hence TBH I'd have to sacrifice one of the others for it. Choice can be a good thing... but it can also make for an almighty headache! LOL.
No doubt it will be a bad idea to go to the dealer launch events when they take place soon!

On a slightly different note, waiting for the i8 launch is like watching paint dry! Ha ha.

P.S. I see you've swapped one image of beauty for another ;)
